What we offer to the community.

Autism on the Go

“Autism on the Go”is Adventure Autism’s flagship program, designed to provide experiences aimed to build confidence, teach useful skills, and help families participate more fully in the community.

Individuals with autism and their families sometimes find it difficult to do things that others might find “routine”. Adventure Autism aims to partner with local businesses and organizations to offer accessible opportunities for individuals with autism to explore their world.

What kind of experiences?

Any kind! Autism on the Go will be designed to explore many different situations in which those on the autism spectrum (or other neurodivergent conditions) may find difficult to experience. Some examples include:

Visiting the eye doctor
Eating at a restaurant
Riding the bus
Going to the dentist
Getting a haircut
Learning how to swim

Become an Autism on the Go Host

Becoming an Autism on the Go Host allows your company, business, or organization to create a meaningful, inclusive experience for individuals with autism and their families. Hosts help families discover new places, activities, and opportunities in a welcoming environment designed with autism in mind.

It’s also a great way to connect with families in your community, demonstrate your commitment to inclusion, and introduce them to what your company, business, or organization offers. Together, we can make everyday adventures more accessible, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. If you are interested in being a host, click the “Become a Host” button to fill out the contact form.

Family Support

Adventure Autism Family Support Program provides guidance, resources, and community connections for individuals with autism and their families. Our goal is to ensure that no one will navigate the challenges of autism alone.

Families will receive personalized support, including help understanding diagnoses, navigating educational and healthcare systems, accessing community resources, and building practical strategies for daily life.

By equipping caregivers with knowledge, tools, and a supportive network, our Family Support Program strengthens families and improves outcomes for individuals with autism across the lifespan.
